I did it!

I can now say, "I've done a Marathon!" as a little before 7am, I crossed the Finish Line with a smile on my face and surprisingly, still a bit of a spring in my step, having completed the MoonWalk in exactly 7 hours.

This is it!

Saturday looms.
The bra is decorated.
The socks are clean.
The bumbag packed with nuts and bananas.

I'm nervous and excited all at once.
And most of all, I'm blown away by your amazing kindness in supporting and sponsoring me.

I'm doing this in memory of my Godmother, Freda, who sadly lost her battle last year. She unknowingly changed my life for the better for which I will be forever grateful.

So thank you, from the bottom of my decorated Bra, for helping me along the way.

It's now less that two weeks until I do a the MoonWalk Marathon – yes me, I’m doing a full 26.2mile marathon!

Not only that, it doesn’t even start till Midnight and goes on through the night, all whilst wearing a decorated bra... Semi naked sport - gotta love it!

Now I realise for some, the very thought of me in just a bra is enough to make you want to run a marathon to get away, so I'm going to do you a deal...

If you sponsor me £5 or less, I'll make sure you don't see photographic evidence of this horrendousness!

However if you do want to see me in my fancy costume and rather marvellous hot pink decorated Wonderbra (and trust me, it does do wonders!) then sponsor me £10 or more.

And if you really rather like the thought of me in my bra and want a little more than a photo, then for the kind and generous person that gives the highest amount to the charity I make this offer... I will come and visit you wearing the bra and you can see it up close and personal if you so wish….

Less than two weeks to go...

Well, I managed the 20 miles yesterday, despite being battered by wind and rain. The bra is currently in a bucket of pink dye, and preparations are nearly finished.

Now, if you could all get together and ask the powers that be for a clear night on 12th May rather than a soggy one, that would be brilliant...

Not long to go...

Hello Everyone

So, it's now just three weeks until the MoonWalk, and training has been going rather well... until this weekend when I pulled a muscle - oops! But I'm being brave, fighting through the pain, and will be doing my longest walk this coming weekend, when I'll tackle 20 miles. Then I've just got to decorate that bra...

No, not Michael Jackson stylee, I'll be joining 16,999 other wonderful people, all of us in decorated bras, walking a marathon in the moonlight whilst raising funds for vital Breast Cancer causes, all as part of the 15th Walk the Walk Moonwalk.
